• The target MV is recognized by Replication Control as the Replication target disk.
• The target MV and RV are paired.
• The activity state of the target pair is Separate.
• The Semi-Sync copy mode cannot be specified for pairs set in the same disk array. The
Semi-Sync copy mode can be specified only for pairs set in different disk arrays.
• The disk array where the specified MV and RV are stored is not in the freeze state.
• The pair of the specified MV and the paired RV pair are not in the Restore state.
• The activity state of the pair of the specified MV and the paired upper MV is Separate.
• The activity state of the pair of the specified RV and the paired lower RV is Separate.
• RV is unmounted from the host.
