7. Slowly press down the foot control to start
sewing. Release the foot control to stop
the machine.
Note
You can use reverse sewing for back
tacking and reinforcing seams by pressing
the reverse sewing lever. Please refer to
"Useful skills" chapter (Page 25) for more
information.
8. Turn the handwheel toward you (counter-
clockwise) to raise the needle. Raise the
presser foot lifter and remove the fabric.
9. Guide both threads to the side of the face
plate and into the thread cutter. Pull the
threads down to cut them.
