Operation
Note: Switch on the extractor hood when you start cooking and
switch it off again several minutes after you have finished
cooking. This is the most effective way of removing the kitchen
fumes.

Setting the fan
Note: Always adjust the fan strength to meet current conditions.
If there is a large build-up of steam or fumes, select a high fan
setting.
Switching on the appliance
1. Press the # button.
The fan starts at fan setting
ƒ.
2. Press the + or - buttons to set a different fan setting.
Switching off the appliance
Press the
# button.
Intensive setting
You can use the intensive setting if there is a large build-up of
odours and fumes/vapours.
Switching on
1. Press the ˜ button.
˜ƒ is shown in the display panel. The intensive mode ˜ƒ is
activated.
2. Press the - button.
˜‚ is shown in the display panel. The intensive mode ˜‚ is
activated.
Note: The run time of the intensive mode is
approx. six minutes. Once this time has elapsed, the appliance
switches back to a lower fan setting.
Switching off
Press the
˜ button.
The intensive mode ends.
Fan run-on time
Switching on
Press the
9 button.
The fan will run on fan level 1 for 10 minutes and then switches
off automatically once this time has elapsed. If the lighting is
switched on, it remains on once the run-on time has elapsed.
Switching off
Press the
9 button.
The fan run-on ends before the remaining run-on time has
elapsed.
AirFresh function
Switching on
Press and hold the
3 button until 3‚ appears in the
display panel.
The fan runs for approx. five minutes per hour.
Switching off
Press the
3 button.
The AirFresh function ends.
Noise reduction function
The noise reduction function reduces the fan noise.
Switching on
The function is possible in all fan settings, except in fan
setting
‚. The function also remains active after the fan is
switched off.
Press the
4 button.
Switching off
Press the
4 button.
Lighting
The lighting can be switched on and off independently of the
ventilation system.
Switching on or off
Press the
6 button.
Setting the brightness
Press and hold the
6 button until the desired brightness is
reached.
