3. Tap numbers and use the arithmetic feature to complete an operation. When using calculator, you can
touch and hold the number in the blank part to copy and paste the number to calculate; tap DEL to delete
the characters to the left of the cursor; touch and hold the DEL to delete all calculated information.
13. 5 Sound Recorder
You can use the Sound Recorder to record sound in a variety of different scenarios, such as meetings, interviews,
or your own voice.
Record sound
1. On the Home screen, go to Sound Recorder.
2. Tap to start recording. In order to ensure optimum recording quality, place your phone on a flat surface
and do not cover the microphone.
3. When recording, tap to pause and tap to continue recording.
4. Tap -> to play the sound record. Tap -> SAVE to save the sound record. Tap -> DISCARD to
discard the sound record.
Note:
1. Your phone will stop recording if you receive a call and the recording will be autosaved.
2. When the Recorder app is recording sound in the background, use the controller ( or or ) in the Notification
Panel to pause, resume, or stop the recording.
Play a record
1. On the Home screen, go to Sound Recorder.
2. Tap , select a record you want to play.
Delete records
1. On the Home screen, go to Sound Recorder.
2. Tap . Touch and hold a record and check the records you want to delete, then tap -> OK.
Sound recorder settings
On the Home screen, go to Sound Recorder.
• Voice quality: Select High to set voice quality as high, select Mid to set voice quality as middle.
• Recording mode: Recording mode can be set as Normal, Meeting or Lecture.
13. 6 FM Radio
To use Sound Recorder, connect a headset to the phone first.
On the Home screen, tap and you can:
Scan and manage stations
• Scan for all radio stations: Tap to scan for all radio stations, then there will be a channel list. You can tap
to add the FM station to favorites.
• Refresh the channel list: Tap -> -> Refresh to refresh the channel list.
• Add a radio frequency: Tap -> -> Add, you can manually add a radio frequency and name it. You can
also tap -> Manual input to manually add a radio frequency.
• Delete channel(s): Tap -> -> Delete, you can check the channels and tap -> Delete -> OK to remove
the channels from channel list.
• Manual adjust the channel: You can manually adjust the channel bit by bit by tapping and .
