Instant Messenger
goodnet supports the chat component of most popular Instant Messenger
applications. Voice, video & file transfer components are possible, but not
supported. There are two main types of Instant Messenger clients: Browser-based
and Application-based.
Supported clients include:
• MSN Messenger (& WebMessenger)
• Windows Messenger
• Yahoo! Messenger (& WebMessenger)
• AOL AIM (& AIM Express)
Network Storage
Currently you can only access your own storage area on the Goodenough College
Server from the PCs within the Computer Rooms in London House and William
Goodenough House. We are currently working on a new system which you will be
able to access from any PC that is connected to the Internet (e.g. your own PC
connected to goodnet, College PCs in the Computer Rooms, PCs at home or other
educational establishments etc.)
