Hardware Description
As illustrated in Figure 2-1, the Model GA620 Gigabit Ethernet Card has a TX (transmit) port, an
RX (receive) port, and the two port LEDs described in Table 2-2.

Label Activity Description
LINK Blinking slowly The port is disabled.
On A good link exists on the port.
Off No link exists on the port. There could be a bad cable, a bad
connector, or a configuration mismatch.
DATA Blinking or On Data is detected on the port.
Off No data is detected on the port.
