Novell NetWare Driver Software
This chapter provides information about the Novell NetWare drivers. Use the Novell NetWare
driver software if you installed the NETGEAR Model GA620 Gigabit Ethernet Card in a PC that is
operating in a Novell NetWare environment.
This chapter also gives directions for performing the following procedures:
• Installing the driver software in the Novell NetWare environment (this page)
• Reconfiguring the driver software after installation (page 4-11
)
Installing the Driver
Your Model GA620 Gigabit Ethernet Card must be physically installed in the server before
installing the software driver. If you have installed more than one card, you must perform the
following steps for each card.
To install the driver software if you are operating in
a Novell NetWare environment
:
1.
Make sure that your server meets the hardware and software requirements as outlined in
Table 2-1 on page 2-2.
• If you are using Novell NetWare 4.11, you must have the most recent support pack
(Support Pack 4 or later). To download the latest support pack, go to the following Novell
location on the Web:
http://support.novell.com
Click on Minimum Patch List, Click on NetWare v4.11 (intraNetWare may be listed with
NetWare v4.11), click on the file name listed next to the latest version support pack, and
then follow the instructions to download the file.
