ReadyNAS Duo, NV+, and 1100
Windows or NAS server using timestamps. Select the Remote: Windows/NAS
(Timestamp) menu option to back up to or from a Windows or NAS server. It is available
in both the source and destination drop-down lists. When this location is the source and
an incremental backup is being performed, the ReadyNAS system uses timestamps to
determine which files to back up.
In the Host field, Enter the path name for the server in one of the following forms:
//<server_name>/<path_name>
//<IP_address>/<path_name>
//<server_name>/<share_name>/<path_name>
In the User name and Password fields, enter the user name and password for the
server.
If you want to back up to a specific folder on the server, click Browse and select the
folder.
HTTP server. Select the Remote: Website menu option to back up to or from an HTTP
server. It is available in both the source and destination drop-down lists.
In the Host field, enter the path name for the server in one of the following forms:
http://www.<URL>/<path_name>
http://<IP_address>/<path_name>
In the User name and Password fields, enter the user name and password for the
server.
If you want to back up to a specific folder on the server, click Browse and select the
folder.
FTP server. Select the Remote: FTP site menu option to back up to or from an FTP
server. It is available in both the source and destination drop-down lists.
In the Host field, enter the path name for the server in the one of the following forms
ftp://<server_name>/<path_name>
ftp://<IP_address>/<path_name>
In the User name and Password fields, enter the user name and password for the
server.
If you want to back up to a specific folder on the server, click Browse and select the
folder.
NFS server. Select the Remote: NFS site menu option to back up to or from an NFS
server. It is available in both the source and destination drop-down lists.
In the Host field, enter the path name for the server in one of the following forms:
<server_name>:/<path_name>
<IP_address>:/<path_name>
If you want to back up to a specific folder on the server, click Browse and select the
folder.
You do not need to enter a user name or password.
