INSTALLINGTHEPAINTHOSE

1. Placethepaillidontothe5gallonpail,andthenplacethepailintothepailcarrierlocatedon
thechassis.Installthelongerendofthediptubethroughtheholeofthepaintlid.

2. OpenthepumptroughshowninPic5byplacingyourthumbonthe
knurledpin(circledinyellow)andfingersonsideofbatteryshroud
andsqueezetogether(Troughwill‘click’andlockopen).

3. Thepainthosehasashortendandalongend,whicharemeasured
fromtheredbead.Usingthisinformation,installthepainthoseinthe
followingformat:
 Redbeadisdirectlyabovethepumptrough’seyelet
 Shortendofhoseistowardstopofredbead
 Longendofhoseistowardsbottomofredbead

4. ClosethetroughbypullingOUTonblackreleaseknobonthetrough.Ifdonecorrectly,the
troughwillsnapshut,andtheblackknobwillbeflushagainstthesideofthetrough.Check
tomakesurethatthepainthoseisdirectlyundertheblackpumprollersandnotpinched
betweensidesoftrough.Ifyouarehavingtroublepullingtheblackknob,youmayneed
slightlysqueezeonknurledpinlikeinStep2andthenpulltheknobsimultaneously.

5. Installtheshortendofthehoseontotheshorterendofthediptube(Pic6).

6. Installthelongendofthehoseontotheavailableendofthemandreltube(Pic7).
