2. SYSTEM CONNECTION,
AMPLIFICATION AND
DIGITAL PROCESSING
The LA12 (LA12C) is designed to be tri-amplified. All midrange transducers as well
as all high frequency transducers are energized as a group.
NEXT recommends that amplifiers have a peak voltage capacity of double the RMS
voltage at full power in order to avoid clipping the signal. For this reason maximum
Recommended Power Levels per Transducer may exceed the AES power rating of individual
drivers.
2.1 POWER AMPLIFIER
In order to power the system we make use of NEXT’S MA SERIES amplifiers with
