This product should be serviced regu-
larly to optimise its safety, efficiency and
performance. The service engineer should
complete the relevant Service Record on
the Benchmark Checklist after each service.
The Benchmark Checklist may be required
in the event of any warranty work and
as supporting documentation relating to
home improvements in the optional docu-
ments section of the Home Information
Pack.
Note!
Please ensure that the installer has fully completed the Benchmark Checklist at the end of the Installation and Maintenance
Instructions supplied with the product and that you have signed to say that you have received a full and clear explanation of its
operation. The installer is legally required to complete a commissioning checklist as a means of complying with the appropriate
Building Regulations (England and Wales).
All installations must be notified to Local Area Building Control either directly or through a Competent Persons Scheme. A
Building Regulations Compliance Certificate will then be issued to the customer who should, on receipt, write the Notification
Number on the Benchmark Checklist.
Cleaning the air filter
Cleaning the ventilation air terminal device
The ventilation air terminal devices in the building must be
cleaned at regular intervals with a small brush in order to
maintain correct ventilation.
The setting of the air terminal device must not be changed.
NOTE! Avoid mixing up the air terminal devices if several
are taken down at the same time for cleaning.
Also check that the ventilation opening behind the lower
front cover is not blocked. Clean as required.
Maintenance routines
Every three months, the middle lamp (C) ”Defrosting in
progress/check filter” on the panel will flash as a reminder
to clean the filter. Note that this period is reset when the
switch is set to the zero position.
You can clean the filter by removing it and shaking it
clean.
1. Set the switch (D) to position ”0”.
2. The upper front cover is opened by first pulling it out
at its lower edge and then lifting it up.
3. Pull out the filter cassette (78).
4. Take out the filter and shake/vacuum off any dirt. Do
not use water or other liquids for cleaning.
5. Check that the filter is not damaged. A new original
filter can be ordered, if required, from a Nibe distribu-
tor.
6. Refitting takes place in the reverse sequence.
The need for cleaning varies and depends on the quantity
of dust in the exhaust air.
