11 – MEMORISATION OF A TRANSMITTER
USING THE RECEIVER
“CERTIFICATE NUMBER”
[with O-Box] – This procedure can only be used if a transmit-
ter is used with “O-Code/A” encoding and when in posses-
sion of the receiver “Certificate Number”.
The “CERTIFICATE” is a personal number (factory set) identi-
fying the single receiver to distinguish it from all others.
Use of this “certificate” simplifies the procedure required to
memorise the transmitter in the receiver, as it no longer oblig-
es the installer to work within the receiver operating range.
In fact the new procedure enables transmitter memorisation
from any distance, even far from the installation site (for exam-
ple from the installer’s office – fig. 4).
WARNING – The settings described in this chapter
require use of the O-Box or O-View programming unit.

• The models with “SM” connector are connected to the
O-Box unit by inserting the receiver in the relative con-
nector.
