How to fix a blank monitor on my Nikon Digital Camera?

If your Nikon Digital Camera monitor is blank, first ensure the camera is turned on. If it is on, check if the battery is exhausted and replace it. If a USB or A/V cable is connected, disconnect it. Also, make sure the lens cap is open. If time lapse or interval timer photography is in progress, the monitor turns off automatically between shots, so wait until it is complete. If the flash lamp is blinking red, wait until the flash has charged. If the camera is in standby mode, use the controls to wake the monitor.
