Basic Steps for Shooting and Playback
1 Turn off the camera and
open the memory card slot
cover.
2 Insert the memory card.
• Slide the memory card in the correct
orientation until it clicks into place.

Inserting the memory card upside down or backwards could
damage the camera or the memory card.
3 Close the memory card slot
cover.
B Formatting a Memory Card
The first time you insert a memory card that has been used in another device into
this camera, make sure to format it with this camera. Insert the memory card into the
camera, go to the Android OS setting menu (A86), and select Storage followed by
Erase SD card.
