Welcome Screen
Configure the welcome screen that is displayed when you turn on the camera.
The Setup Menu
Press the d button M z menu icon M Welcome screen M k button
Option Description
None
(default setting)
Does not display the welcome screen.
COOLPIX Displays a welcome screen with the COOLPIX logo.
Select an image
Displays an image selected for the welcome screen.
• The image selection screen is displayed. Select an
image (E49) and press the k button.
• Because a copy of the selected image is saved in the
camera, it will be displayed when the camera is turned
on, even if the original image is deleted.
• Images captured using easy panorama cannot be
selected.
• An image cannot be selected if the image size is
extremely small after the small picture or crop function
is applied.
