The supplied audio video (A/V) cable can be used to connect the
camera to a television or video recorder for playback or
recording.
The optional High-Definition Multimedia Interface
(HDMI) cable (0 333) or a type C HDMI cable (available
separately from third-party suppliers) can be used to connect
the camera to high-definition video devices.
Standard Definition Devices
Before connecting the A/V cable to a standard television as
shown, confirm that the camera video standard (0 281)
matches that used in the TV.
Always turn the camera off before
connecting or disconnecting the A/V cable.
Tune the television to the video channel, then turn the camera
on and press the K button.
During playback, images will be
displayed on the television screen.
Note that the edges of
images may not be displayed.
