Batteries
1.
Without batteries,
the camera

Before shooting,
check
to see
if
the
batteries
wtll
need to be changed
soon.
When
the batteries
are
almost
worn out, both
the
film winding
time
and
flash charging
time
tncrease

packed
with
this camera
are
for
test
purposes
only.
Therefore,
their
life

not
conform
to the
battery
life
shown
in the specifi-
cations.

batteries
referred to
herein are
not
packaged
with L35AF
cameras
sold
in the U.S.A.
and Canada,
and
are
not
included
in
the
price
of
the camera
Batteries
must be
purchased

replacing
batteries,
always
replace both
at
the same
time
with
fresh batteries
of
the same
brand.
Do
not use
NtCd batteries.
Although
man-
ganese
batteries
can
be used,
their
life
will be
shorter
than
that
of alkaline-manganese
bat-
tenes

your
camera
in
a
cool,

and
clean
place.
Remove
the
bat'
teries
if
the
camera
will
not
be
used
for more than
two
weeks.
When
not using
the
camera
for
a
long time,

lights uP,

remove the batteries.

autofocus

dow surfaces

brush

a soft

be sure
the ON/OFF
switch
is turned
off
before
placing
the camera
in
the
optional
case.
Otherwise,
the
flash
may
pop
up
and
consume
the battery
Power.

battery
terminals
are
convered
with
per-
spiratron
or
fingerprints,
clean
them
with
a dry
cloth.
Never throw
used
batterres
into a
fire.
Because
battery
performance
decreases
in
low
temperatures
(though
it returns in normal tem-
peratures),
keep
an extra
pair
of batteries
warm
in
your
pocket
when
shooting
in
temper-
atures
below
0'C
(32'F).

Film
1. Film
with an extremely
bent
leading end cannot
be used.

Always
use
film before
its
expiration
date.

Avoid
loading
film
in
direct sunlight
4.
When
you
have
finished shooting
a
roll of
film,
send
it
out
to be
processed
as
soon
as
possible.
