The Nikon Laser Rangefinder uses an invisible
laser beam for measuring. It measures the time the
laser beam takes to travel from the rangefinder
to the target and back. Laser reflectivity and
measurement results may vary according to
climatic and environmental conditions, as well
as the color, surface finish, size, shape and other
characteristics of the target.
The following conditions makes measuring easier:
• Cloudyweather
• Bright-coloredtarget
• Targetwithhighlyreflectivesurface
• Large-sizetarget
• Whenlaserincidentangletothetargetiscloseto90
degrees
Measurement may result in inaccuracy or failure in
the following cases:
