Check the coil resistance. If the resistance is below 75 ohms, replace the coil. Contactor K2 is for the right motor on two- or three-motor decks. K2 is the only contactor on single-motor decks.

Look for any short circuits in the brush motor or its wiring. If you have a cylindrical model, verify there is no excessive belt tension and check the condition of the idler bearing. Note that some models use one, two, or three scrub motors.
