Another possibility is that the overload protection switch has tripped. In this case, switch off the vacuum cleaner and allow it to cool for approximately 5 minutes. If it still doesn't start, contact the Nilfisk-Alto service department. Finally, the motor itself might be faulty, so have it changed by Nilfisk-Alto Service.
