4 Explanation of symbols
8. Never pull or carry the vacuum cleaner by its power cord, do not use the cord as the handle, do not clamp
the cord with a door, and do not pull the cord over sharp edges. Make sure the vacuum cleaner does not
roll over the cord. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
9. Do not unplug the vacuum cleaner by pulling on its cord. To unplug it, grasp the plug, not the cord.
10. Do not use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum ammable substances such as petrol, and do not use it in
places where such substances may be present.
11. Do not use the device to remove substances/dusts hazardous to health.
12. Do not touch the plug or the vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
13. Do not insert any items into the openings on the vacuum cleaner. Do not use the vacuum cleaner if any
opening is clogged. Remove all dust, lint, hair and any other obstacles to airow.
14. If the suction opening, the suction hose or the metal telescopic tube becomes blocked, turn the vacuum
cleaner off immediately. Before you turn the vacuum cleaner on again, remove the blocking object.
15. Hold your hair, loose parts of clothes, ngers and other body parts away from openings and moving
parts.
16. Do not vacuum any objects which are burning or emitting smoke, such as cigarettes, matches or hot
ashes.
17. Do not vacuum ne powders such as: our, cement, soot, gypsum/plaster, toners for printers and
copiers etc.
18. Prior to vacuuming, remove sharp objects from the oor to avoid damage to the dust bag.
19. Do not cover the ventilation openings of the machine when vacuum cleaning. Hot air that cannot escape
from the vacuum cleaner may cause overheating that leads to motor damage, or may cause deformation
of device parts made of plastic.
20. Do not use the device in the vicinity of ammable fabrics (curtains, carpets), do not position it next to
sources of high heat: gas heaters, electric cookers.
21. Be careful when using the device.
22. Disconnect the device from the mains when it is not in use and before cleaning it, or before emptying the
dust bag. Wait until the device cools down before you insert any parts into or remove any parts from the
vacuum cleaner, and before you start cleaning or repairing the device.
23. Do not clean the product using corrosive cleaning agents.
24. Use the device only for its intended purpose.
25. Retain the user’s manual and the packaging, if possible.
26. If you intend to hand this device over to another person, make sure this user’s manual accompanies it.
