8 Cleaning and care
8.1 Basic rules
Correct and regular cleaning will improve the safety of the product and extend its lifetime.
Warning! Switch off the device, unplug and let it cool down before cleaning it, emptying the water
container/ dust bag or performing maintenance to avoid electric shock and burns. Unplug all
devices connected to the vacuum cleaner electric outlet (9).
Caution! Do not clean the device with any chemicals, alkali, abrasive or disinfecting agents, as they may
damage the surface of the device.
8.2 Device cleaning
Clean the devices and its accessories with a slightly damp cloth, then let them dry before using them again.
8.3 Paper dust bag emptying / replacement
1. Raise the latch release handles and take the latches off the lid.
2. Remove the lid.
3. Remove the paper dust bag from the outlet tube.
4. Dispose of the paper dust bag together with its contents.
5. Install a new paper dust bag as described in section 7.3 Dry operation – dust bag.
6. Close the latches on the lid.

8.4 Emptying the vacuum cleaner after wet operation with the foam lter
1. Raise the latch release handles and take the latches off the lid.
2. Remove the lid.
3. Remove the foam lter for wet operation from the cage, rinse it under running water and leave until dry.
4. Pour out all the contents collected inside the vacuum cleaner body, and wipe the interior dry using a
cloth.
5. When the foam lter for wet operation dries off, place the lter over the cage.
6. Replace the lid with the cage and the foam lter for wet operation.
7. Close the latches on the lid.
Caution!
The vacuum cleaner contains a oat valve (22) intended to prevent liquid entering the motor and its
electrical parts. The oat valve will move up along with the liquid in the water container until air suction is
cut off. When this happens, immediately turn off the device and empty the container!
Caution!
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with an electric power outlet (9) that allows connection of additional
devices whose parameters match those stated in p. 2 Technical data.
The device contains no parts that could be serviced by the user. Do not attempt to repair the device on your
own. Always have a specialist perform repairs.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service centre or a
qualied individual, so as to avoid hazards or injuries.
