(REASON LS AND REASON)
This hidden technology is used to time surf heats. This upper 2
o’clock position crown (doesn’t) pull out.
(1) Common surf competition heats are 20, 30, and 40 minutes.
(2) To set for a 20 minute Heat, turn the crown until the “20”
lines up with the current minute hand position.
(3) Now, your setup with a countdown time that counts down from
20 to 15 to 10 to 0 minutes, when the minute hand aligns
with the Nixon icon.
(4) To set for 30 or 40 minute heats, you got it, align the minute
hand to 30 or 40 minutes.
CHANGE BRACELET SIZE
(Your local jeweler can do this easily and cheaply. If you want
to do it yourself, get yourself a tool for the trick.)
(1) Remove the PEN TOOL from the BLOCK. Do this by SLID-
ING the PEN out, don’t yank it up or the tip will break.
Ouch. We’ve seen this happen.
(2) Put the BLOCK on a sturdy surface. You should be able to
read “Nixon”.
(3) Put the bracelet in one of the grooves so the arrows on
the underside of the bracelet point down. There are two
grooves, one is for fat bracelets and the other is for skin-
ny bracelets.
(4) the pointy end of the PEN and put it in the hole of the link
you want to remove.
(5) Tap the PEN gently with a small hammer, cell phone, or
other hard flat object. The pin should be pushed out to
the bottom of the BLOCK. Save the pin to re-join the
bracelet links.
Hint: Remove links evenly from both sides of the band to keep
your Nixon even on your wrist.
