:
Allows
you
to
delete
names
and
phone
numbers
from
the
Phone
book
one
by
one
or
all
at
once

Edit
Allows
you
to
modify
the
stored
names
and
phone
numbers
.
Assign
tone
:
Sets
the
phone
to
play
the
desired ringing
tone
when
you
receive
a
call
from
a
particular
phone
number
.
Scroll
to
the
caller's
name
or
phone
number,
press
~_=?
(Assign),
and
select
the
desired ringing
tone
.

b'cord
:
Allows
you
to
send
a
name
and
phone
number
to
a
compatible
phone
.
Options-
Type
of view
:
Determines
how
the
stored
phone
numbers
and
names
are
shown
.
Options-
Memory
stotus
:
Shows
how
many names
and
phone
numbers
can
still
be
stored
and
are
currently stored
in
the
Phone
book
.
Speed
dials
:
Sets
the
desired
number
key
(0
to
O)
to
work
as
a
speed
dialling
key
.
Scroll to
the
desired
key,
press
(Assign),
and
select
a name
or
phone
number
.
Voice
togs
:
You
can
dial
a
phone
number
by
saying
one
or
more
words
('voice
tags'),
for
example
a
name,
attached
to
it
.
This
function
allows
you
to
record
a
voice
tag
to
any
phone
numbers
stored
in
the
Phone
book
.
You
can
also
listen
to,
change,
and
erase
the
recorded
voice tags
.
To
record
a
voice
tag
:
Select
Add
voice
tog,
select
the
desired
name
or
phone
number,
and
press
~
(Start)
.
Say
clearly
the
word(s)
you
want
to
record
as
a
voice
tag
.
To
make
a
call
with
a
voice
tag
:
In
standby
mode,
press
and
hold
(Menu)
.
Say
the
desired
voice
tag
clearly
while
you
hold
the
phone
in
the
normal
position
near your
ear
.
The
phone
plays
the
voice
tag
and
dials
the
related
phone
number
.
If
no
match
for
the
voice
tag
is
found
or
recognised,
press
~
(Yes)
to
say
the
voice
tag
again
or
©
to
return
to
standby
mode
.
If
you
use
the
HDC-5
headset,
press
and
hold
the
headset
button
until
you
heara
short
tone
.
Say
the
voice
tag
clearly
.
Before using voice
dialling,
note
that
:
Voice
tags
are
stored
in
the
phone
and
are
removed
when
you
insert
another
SIM
card
into
the
phone
.
When
recording
a
voice
tag
or
making
a
call
by
saying
a
voice
tag,
hold
the
phone
in
the
normal
position
near your
ear
.
Voice
tags
are
not
language
dependent
.
They
are
dependent
on
the
speaker's
voice
.
Voice
tags
are
sensitive
to
the
background
noise
;
record
voice
tags
in
a
quiet
environment
.

Very short
names
are
not
accepted
;
use
long
names
and
avoid
similar
names
for
different
numbers
.
Note
:
The
phone
must
be
in
a
service area with
adequate
cellular
signal
strength
.
Also,
you
must
say the
name
exactly
as
you
said
it
when
you
recorded
it
.
This
may
be
difficult
in,
for
example,
a
noisy
environment
or
during
an
emergency,
so
you
should
not
rely
solely
upon
voice
dialling
in
all
circumstances
.

Writing
and
sending
a
text
message
(Menu
2-1)
You can
write
and
send
multi-part
text
messages
of up
to
three
ordinary
text
messages
in
length
(network
service)
.
Invoicing
is
based
upon
how
many
ordinary
messages
are
needed
for
any
multi-part
message
.
To
send
a
message,
the
phone
number
of
your
message
centre
has
to be
stored
in
the
phone
.
