" Listening
to voice
messages
In
standby mode, press

to call
your voice mailbox
. Youcan
obtain the voice mailbox
number
from your service
provider .
" Locking
the keypad
The
keypad lock
prevents keys from
being
accidentally
pressed when, for
example, the phone
is in your pocket
or handbag .
To turn the lock on
or off : In standby
mode, press
(~ and then
quickly .
When the keypad
is locked :
The indicator -0
is shown .
Youcan answer,
end or reject a
call in the normal
way . During a
call, you can operate
the phone as
usual .

can
be
used
as
usual .
Note :
When the
keypad
is
locked,
calls may
be
possible
to the
emergency
number
programmed
into your
phone
(112) . The
number
is
displayed
only when
all
the
digits
have been
keyed in .

number

Scroll to Add nameand
press 0
(Select) . Key in the desired
name (see "Writing
text" on page 9)

code and phone
number, and press

: Shows a
list of words

keypresses . Scroll to

Insert word :
Allows you to add a
word to the dictionary
manually .

Insert number : Allows
you to key
in numbers by pressing
each
number key once .
Insert symbol : Allows
you to
select a special
character from a
list . Scroll to the
desired character
(such as %) and press
