When editing a
template, pressing
~ (Options)
allows access
to
a
further set of functions,
including
Sendand Save template .
You can create a template
from
scratch by selecting one
of the empty
templates at the end of
the template
list .
Smileys (Menu 2-6)
This function allows you to edit
the
smiley characters such as " :-)" that
you can use when writing or
replying
to a message . Scroll to the desired
Smiley and press 0 (Edit) .
Message settings (Menu 2-7)
The phone offers two kinds of
message settings : settings specific to
each setting group or 'set', and
settings common to all text messages .
Set 1 (Menu
2-7-1) 1
A set is a collection of settings needed
for sending text and picture messages .
Each set has the following settings :
Message centre
number, Messages
sent as, Message
validity .
You need
the message centre number to send
text and picture messages . You can
obtain this number from your service
provider .

Common (Menu 2-7-2)

The settings in this submenu apply to
all text messages that you send,
irrespective of the chosen set . The
available settings are : Delivery
reports, Reply via same centre,
Character support .
When the Unicodeoption of the
Character support function is
selected, you can send messages
using special characters (such as n) in
Romance and Slavic languages or
Russian characters to a compatible
phone, if supported by your network .
Info service (Menu 2-8)
This network service allows you to
receive messages on various topics
(such
as
traffic conditions) from the
network . For details, contact your
service provider .
Voicemailbox number
_(Menu 2-9)
You
can
store the phone number of
your voice mailbox (network service) .
Key in the number and press
(0 K) .
The total number of sets depends on
how many sets your SI M card offers .

The shortcut number of this menu depends on the number
of
sets
available . Here it is
assumed that only one set is available .

Menu functions
You can view the phone
numbers
registered by the phone
and the
approximate
length and cost of your
calls .
The phone
registers missed and
received calls if
it is switched on and
within the network's
service area, and
if the network
supports these
functions .
When you press
~-=) (Options) in the
Missed calls, Received callsor Dialled
numbers
menu,
you can view the time
of the call and edit, view or call a
registered phone
number, add it to the
Phone
book,
or
delete it from the list
of phone
numbers . You can also send
a text
message to the caller (Send
SMS) .

Missed calls :This network service
shows
the last 10 phone numbers
from which somebody has tried to
call you with no success .
