Remove control
cover.
Replace the
Piezo igniter.
Clean ignition
electrode and
retry ignition.
Reposition
electrode per
specifications
& retry ignition.
Is Piezo secure
against control
mounting bracket?
YES
NO
Is there an audible
click heard while
rapidly pressing
the piezo igniter?
NO
YES
Replace the
Piezo igniter and
retry ignition.
Firmly attach
Piezo to bracket
and retry ignition.
Remove burner
box cover..
YES
Is the ignition wire
cracked or does it
have broken wire
insulation?
YES
NO
Is the ignition
wire secure to
the Piezo igniter?
YES
NO
Secure wire to
Piezo and
retry ignition.
Replace ignition
electrode assy. &
retry ignition.
Pull mounting
bracket forward
to gain access to
Piezo igniter.
Remove the
screws from
each end of
mounting bracket.
No ignition spark at the burner
