The specified compressor resistance measurements were
established at room temperature. Always make sure that
the compressor has cooled down to room temperature
before measuring compressor winding resistance.
Ground Wire
(Green/White)
Neutral Wire
(Black/Ribbed)
To
measuring compressor resistance:
1.
Tum off refrigerator.
2.
Allow the compressor
to
cool down
to
room temperature.
3.
Disconnect the line voltage wire from the compressor. See
Figure
17.
4.
Measu
re
compressor resistance as shown
in
Figure
17.
Resistance should measure between 1.4 and 3.5 ohms.
