8. Installation
8.6. Installation in oor to ceiling kitchen
When installing a corner fridge in a oor to ceiling kitchen, an extra air grille and air conduit must be tted to ensure sufcient
air circulation above and below.
Place the air duct on the roof of the corner fridge. Integrate the corner fridge as described in chapter 3. Cut a hole in the front
panel of the door and the base for mounting the air vent. Make sure the air vent is placed by the air duct outlet. When installing
the corner fridge in a kitchen that is 2.10 m, do not use the supplied air vent and extra air duct outlet over the roof element.
8.7. Preparing corner fridge (for all models)
1. Preparation: Insert plastic plugs supplied into all open holes and bushings.
2. Positioning shelves. Position wire shelves/baskets at desired height (same height both sides), in side wall shelf rests.
Insert wire basket such that the glass shelf rest (at iron) faces the centre of the fridge. Remember difference between right and
left shelves. Wire shelves must be xed into holes in fridge walls (for centring) using white plastic plugs. Seal remaining wire shelf
holes with white sealing plugs. Place 2 anti-slip pads (silicon pads) per triangular shelf approx. 7 cm from each side wall edge
on the glass shelf rest (at iron) on which the glass shelves will rest. Where glass shelves are required, place 4 anti-slip pads per
triangular shelf.
3. Glass shelves. Fit white front prole on all glass shelves and place on shelf rests in fridge. NOTE! Exercise caution when
removing glass shelf for cleaning. Do not lift shelf by prole, as this is loose! Recommended shelf position (from top) for best
utilisation:
shelf rest 1: split glass shelf
shelf rest 2: full glass shelf
shelf rest 4: dull glass shelf
shelf rest 6: baskets
shelf rest 8: full glass shelf
Leave the corner fridge inactive after installation for approx. 2 hours before connecting to the mains electricity. This is necessary
to allow the oil to recollect in the compressor after transport and installation.
When you start your corner fridge for the rst time it will take about 1 minute before the compressor starts, and it can take up to
24 hours before the goods have a temperature of approx. 5 °C.
To measure temperature, place a thermometer in a glass of water in the fridge. This is to simulate the temperature of the food
inside.
If kept very full or the door is opened and closed frequently, or the ambient temperature is high, compressor running time will
increase and it will take longer to reach the temperature set. So keep the door closed as much as possible at all times.
