How to fix NordicTrack C2500 Treadmill if the power does not turn on?
    • J
      Jessica LiuJul 26, 2025
First, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is connected to a grounded outlet. The NordicTrack Treadmill is not compatible with GFCI outlets, so ensure that you are not using one. Then, check that the key is fully inserted into the console. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the circuit breaker has tripped. Wait five minutes, then press the switch to reset it.

Why does the walking belt slow down when walked on NordicTrack C2500?
    • H
      harperronaldAug 10, 2025
If the walking belt on your NordicTrack Treadmill slows when you walk on it, ensure you are using a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the specifications. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use the hex key to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened.

How to center a walking belt that is off-center or slips on NordicTrack C2500 Treadmill?
    • A
      Ashley TaylorAug 20, 2025
If the walking belt on your NordicTrack Treadmill is off-center, unplug the power cord and remove the key. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn. If it has shifted right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Be careful not to overtighten the belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill briefly to check. Repeat until centered. If the belt slips, unplug the treadmill and remove the key. Tighten both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. The belt should be tight enough to lift each edge 2-3 inches from the platform. Plug in the treadmill, insert the key, and walk on it briefly to test. Repeat until properly tightened.
