What to do if my North Star Water Dispenser has no display?
    • C
      Christina LaraAug 4, 2025
If your North Star Water Dispenser's display is not working, there could be a few reasons. First, check the outlet by plugging in another appliance to ensure the outlet has power. If the outlet is functional, inspect the fuse in the power cable and replace it with the same type and value (AGC 3A 250V) if it's blown. Also, the internal transformer fuse might be blown. You can check the output voltage with a multimeter, it should be between 24 and 30 volts AC.

What to do if my North Star PA101 shows error code 1, 3, or 4?
    • P
      Perry WilsonAug 12, 2025
If your North Star Water Dispenser is displaying error code 1, 3, or 4, it could be due to several reasons: * The wiring harness may not be properly connected. Check the connections at the controller box and valve, and look for any corrosion at the connection points. * The position switch connections might be incorrect. Inspect the valve switch connections. * The incorrect valve type may have been selected during a new installation or system upgrade. Verify that the proper valve configuration is selected in the controller box. * The valve motor might be running slowly or not at all. Initiate a recharge and step the valve through all positions to check for consistent movement. If the motor is slow, inspect the motor and valve seals.

If the fuse in your North Star Water Dispenser keeps blowing, it could be due to a shorted or improperly connected wiring harness. Check the connections at the controller box and valve. Ensure all other wires are connected before plugging the transformer into the outlet.

    • E
      Ernest AlexanderAug 26, 2025
