Starting up after warm-up (when the environment temperature is less than 41° F or 5° C the
engine is cold).
1. Press the clutch pedal all of the way in and turn the key to the ‘H’ position for 5-10 seconds. Then turn
the key to the ‘ST’ position. Release the clutch pedal, and at the same time, decrease the fuel by
controlling the throttle control after the engine has been running.
Starting the Bulldozer
1. Clean up any obstructions on the work ground and keep bystanders out of the area.
2. When the engine is running at low speed, push the clutch pedal in completely, and then put the main
gearshift and auxiliary gearshift into the position (see Fig. 2).
3. Slowly engage the clutch and simultaneously increase fuel to start the bulldozer smoothly. After the
bulldozer starts up, take your foot off the clutch pedal.

Steering and Brake System Operation
The steering system is integrated into the brake system. Control of brakes is operated sequentially with
steering clutches and controlled with the same pedals.
