Maintain every 1000 hours.
•
Check the following engine parts according to the 403F-E17T Perkins
Operation and Maintenance Manual.
•
Check the injection pressure and the state of atomization of the injectors.
Clean the injector. If necessary, adjust or replace it. Check the clearances of
the inlet and the exhaust valves. The normal clearance of the inlet valve is
0.35mm and the normal clearance of the exhaust valves is 0.40mm. Adjust if
necessary. Make sure the head cylinder fasteners, the connecting rods, and
flywheel, are securely fastened in accordance with the manufacturer’s
requirements.
•
Check the electrical system circuits. Clean up parts.
•
Clean up the sediment incrustation of the coolant.
•
Replace the air filter.
