CYCLONE & ATOM INSTRUCTION MANUAL 21
FIGURE 14 General Diagram of Minimum Brake, Dead
Band and other parameters.
The Cyclone & Atom come with a Minimum Brake
Adjustment feature to give the user control over the starting
value of the brake throw. This adjustment is made with the
ESC’s BRAKE pot, using the included adjustment screwdriver.
DO NOT rotate the pot beyond its end stop—this will
damage the pot and void the warranty.
By turning the BRAKE adjustment pot clockwise , the
amount of minimum brake is increased to a maximum of
75% of the total brake throw.
When the BRAKE pot is turned all the way counter-
clockwise , the amount of minimum brake is set to
0.39%. This means that the first brake pulse is 0.39% of
the total brake throw.
