Aftertouch
Aftertouch
With these controls, you can set how the V-Station will respond to aftertouch.
OSC 123
PITCH It may be desirable to drastically change the pitch of all the oscillators using
aftertouch. This setting is used to shift the absolute pitch of the all the
oscillators up or down in response to aftertouch. Values 1 to 63 will result in a
higher pitch from 1 to 63 semitones when you press harder on your keyboard.
Values -1 to -64 will result in a lower pitch when you press down on your
keyboard.
PITCH MOD Allows you to use aftertouch to control the amount of pitch modulation from
LFO1, introducing a vibrato effect. As you press down on your keyboard, LFO
1 modulation (i.e. vibrato) will be applied. For best results, ensure that LFO 1 is
using a Triangle waveform and its SPEED is set to a value of around 75. This
will give a smooth, traditional vibrato effect.
FILTER
FREQ Sets the amount that aftertouch will control the filter’s cutoff frequency. With
values of 0 to +63, pressing harder on your keyboard will cause the cutoff
frequency to rise (i.e. it will ‘open’ the filter). With values of 0 to -64, pressing
harder on your keyboard will cause the filter to close.
FREQ MOD Allows you to use aftertouch to control the amount of filter cutoff frequency
modulation from LFO2. In this way, you can use aftertouch to introduce filter
sweeps.
AMP
AMP GAIN By routing aftertouch to the amplifier, the overall volume of the sound may be
controlled. Positive values of 1 to 63 increase the output volume of the Amp
Envelope as you press harder on your keyboard. Negative values from -1 to
-64 decrease the output volume of the Amp Envelope as you press down on
your keyboard. At a setting of 0, aftertouch will have no effect.
