Figure 7-1 Gas Line Connection (Typical)
Test all gas piping, internal and external to the boiler, for leaks. Failure to follow
these instructions may result in fire, property damage, serious injury or death.
Manual Gas Shutoff Valve
Should overheating occur or the
gas supply fail to shutoff, close the
Manual Gas Shutoff Valve to the
boiler.
Flexible Gas Line Piping
Recommended to eliminate
strain on the boiler gas
components (only use if
acceptable by local codes).
Drip Leg / Optional Gas Supply Location
When used as the Gas Supply Location,
remove cap and install on the top fitting;
drip leg must be field constructed external
to the boiler.
