11.9 Interconnection
11.9.1 Modular Cable (Up To 30 Metres)
The sensors or other devices on the SA bus network connect either by modular
RJ12 connections or by screwed terminals using plain ended cable. All sensors
are fitted with both.
The Room Modules can connect using a 24AWG twisted 3-pair cable with
RJ12 connections over the Sensor Actuator (SA) bus, the following items are
available.
Room Modules must not be fitted more than 30metres (cable length) from the
controller when using this connection method.
