The Nuna Pepp Next is a stroller designed for infants from birth up to a maximum weight of 15 kg and a height of 114.3 cm. It is suitable for use at walking speed and is not intended for jogging, running, or skating. The stroller emphasizes safety, ease of use, and adaptability to a child's growth and various environmental conditions.
The primary function of the Nuna Pepp Next is to provide a safe and comfortable means of transport for infants and young children. It features a robust frame, a comfortable seat pad, and a canopy for sun protection. The stroller is designed to be easily folded for storage and transport, and it can be carried by its handle once folded. It also offers compatibility with the NUNA KLIK plus infant carrier (sold separately) using car seat adaptors, expanding its functionality for newborns.
To open the stroller, first separate the storage latch from the upper storage mount. Then, rotate the handle upwards until a "click" sound confirms the frame is fully open. Finally, secure the storage latch to the lower storage mount, ensuring the frame is completely latched open before use.
Align the armbar ends with the armbar mounts and insert them until they lock into place. Ensure that the seat fabric is not caught in the armbar attachment mount. To remove the armbar, press the armbar release button and pull the armbar out.
The stroller features a 5-point harness system. To secure your child, push the center button on the buckle to release the buckle latch, remove the clips, and place your child in the stroller. Connect the shoulder buckle and hip buckle, then secure them to the buckle latch on both sides. Adjust the harness snugly by pulling the adjustment straps to tighten and the waist adjustment straps out. The upper shoulder harness buckles can be moved up and down for added adjustment. Always use the seat belt to prevent falling or sliding out. The harness should be adjusted so that there is about the thickness of one finger between the child and the shoulder harness. Do not cross the shoulder belts, as this can cause pressure on the child's neck.
The handle has five positions for height adjustment. To adjust, slide the handle adjustment buttons up to disengage, then pull the handle up or down. A "click" sound indicates that the handle is locked in position.
The canopy can be fully extended for use. To open, pull it towards the front of the seat; to close, push it back. The canopy visor can be positioned forward or backward as needed and folded under the canopy when not in use. The canopy also features a dream drape™ for extra shade, accessed by opening a zipper. To detach the canopy, pull in on the canopy mounts and unsnap it from the back of the seat. Reversing these steps will reattach it.
The calf support has two positions. To raise it, simply lift it up. To lower it, press the adjustment buttons on both sides and push down.
The seat back offers two recline positions, controlled by zippers on each side. For recline position 1, unzip the outer zippers. For recline position 2, unzip the inner zippers.
The seat pad can be removed to provide a mesh seating area, which is beneficial for ventilation in hot weather. Remove the canopy before removing the seat pad. To remove the seat pad, unsnap it from the back of the seat, unbuckle the harness, thread the harness through the slots, and then remove the pad. Do not remove the backrest tube.
It is recommended to use the front swivel locks on uneven surfaces. To lock the front wheels, press down on the swivel lock; the lock will engage when the wheel is straight. To unlock, pull up on both swivel locks.
To lock the rear wheels, step down on the brake lever. To unlock, lift up on the brake lever. Always apply the brake when the stroller is stopped, especially when placing or removing a child. Push the stroller slightly to ensure the brake is engaged.
Use the tether strap to prevent the stroller from rolling away inadvertently. Ensure your hand is through the loop, allowing easy control of the stroller.
Before folding, push the canopy to the rear, adjust the handle to its lowest position, and separate the storage latch from the lower storage mount. Pull up on the folding buttons and push the stroller forward to fold. Secure the storage latch to the upper storage mount. The stroller can be carried by lifting its handle. Ensure the storage latch is engaged when lifting or carrying.
The Nuna Pepp Next is compatible with the NUNA KLIK plus infant carrier using car seat adaptors. Before attaching the adaptors, remove the canopy. Unfasten the hook and loop from the side of the seat frame, then pull and unsnap the fabric from the seat frame. Unlatch and open the infant car seat adaptors, noting the numbers inside. Place infant car seat adaptor 1 around the left side of the seat frame, with the arrow pointing down, ensuring the number is under the seat frame and the adaptor aligns with the gray lines on top of the seat frame. Close the adaptor over the top of the seat frame until a "click" sound confirms it is attached. Repeat on the right side with infant car seat adaptor 2. Before attaching the infant carrier, recline the seat back to position 1 by unzipping the outer zippers. Place the infant carrier on the adaptors; a "click" sound indicates attachment. To remove the infant carrier, push the stroller release buttons on the infant carrier and lift up. Remove the infant carrier before folding. To remove the car seat adaptors, unlatch them from the seat frame, then reattach the fabric to the seat frame and secure the hook and loop.
To assemble the rain cover, place it over the stroller seat. Always ensure proper ventilation, especially in hot weather, when the rain cover is on the product. Do not fold the stroller with the rain cover assembled. Do not place your child in the stroller with the rain cover during hot weather.
The frame, plastic parts, and fabric should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasives or bleach. Do not use silicon lubricants, as they attract dirt and grime. The stroller should not be stored in a damp place. Regularly clean the stroller wheels with water to remove any dirt. After use in rainy weather, wipe the product with a soft, absorbent cloth to ensure long-lasting use. Refer to the care label attached to the fabric for specific washing and drying instructions.
It is normal for fabric to show wear and tear or color fading from sunlight over time. For safety reasons, only original Nuna parts should be used for replacements. Regularly check that all components function properly. Discontinue using the product if any parts are torn, broken, or missing. Always ensure the rain cover has been cleaned and dried before folding.
