IMPORTANT: Do not mount outlet box near heat
source.
1. Mounttheoutletboxtoanearbyraftersothattheoutlet
boxishigherthanthefanmotor.
12. Carefullyliftshinglesandnailashingsecurelytothe
roofusinggalvanizedroongnails.
13. Usingagoodgradeofroongcementmaterial,seal
all of the shingles and heads of nails.
DONOTsealthebottomedgeoftheashing.
WIRING
CAUTION: Make sure fan and switches are properly
grounded and all wiring complies with local electrical
code requirements.
2. Removethethermostatwiringboxcoverplate.Bring
120 VAC, 14-gauge-with-ground house power cable at
least6"intothethermostatwiringbox.Fastencableto
boxwithapporpriateconnector.
3. An on/off switch can be installed in a convenient loca-
tion in the living area of the house so that the fan can
be turned off when not needed.

The fan thermostat is preset to 110

matically start when the ambient temperature reaches the
set temperature and stop when the temperature drops 10-
degrees below the set temperature. The start temperature
can be adjusted from 60
