Introduction
The Oxlife Independence
®
is a portable oxygen concentrator used on a prescriptive basis
by patients requiring supplemental oxygen in a home, office or institutional environment or
in a vehicle/mobile environment.
The device delivers 87%-95% pure oxygen to a patient through a standard single lumen nasal
cannula. In pulse mode, the Independence detects a patient breath and delivers a bolus of
oxygen during the inhalation period. In continuous mode, the Independence delivers a
continuous flow of oxygen up to 3.0 LPM.
Device power options include a 100-240VAC power supply, 10-15VDC power supply and
rechargeable batteries.
