5 > Generation 1-2-3-4:
a. To activate generation, press on (–G) to go from 0 - 1.
b. Press again on (+A) to increase generation or on (–G) to
decrease it.
6 > Shortcut to pass directly from one mode to the other:
a. If you are already on assistance mode and wish to pass
directly to the generative mode, simply maintain (–G) pushed
for a few seconds.
– AND –
b. The same way, if you are on generative mode, maintain (+A)
pushed for a few seconds to come back to the assistance
mode.
7 > Distance, odometer, chronometer, average speed:
a. Press on (Crono) to switch displays.
b. Maintain (Crono) pushed for 2 seconds to refresh the chrono
and distance to zero.
c. Chronology and distance have to be refreshed individually.
d. These features cumulate when the wheel turns.
8 > Choosing a PIN number:
a. Press on both (+A) and (–G) simultaneously for 2 seconds.
4 zeros will appear, the first one is blinking.
b. Press on (+A) to go from 1 – 9 and on (–G) to go from 9 – 1.
c. When the correct digit is displayed, press on (Mode) to have
the next zero blink.
d. When the fourth digit is chosen, press on (Mode) to finalize
the programming of your PIN number.
9 > How to arm the alarm system:
a. Push both (Mode) and (+A) simultaneously. The blinking lock
will be displayed.
b. From that moment on, if the bicycle is moved for more than
1/4 wheel rotation, the battery will emit a sound and the BionX
system will switch to generative mode, level 4 (the maximum
resistance level).
10 > How to disarm the alarm system:
a. Press on any button, 4 zeros will appear, the first one is
blinking.
b. Select your PIN number by pressing (+A) (1 – 9) and (–G)
(9 – 1) and press (Mode) to pass to the next digit.
c. When the fourth digit is selected, press on (Mode), the
motor-wheel is now unlocked.
>> NOTE: If you have not selected your PIN number, the default PIN
number is 0000.
