Wireless Connection Problems
WPA-PSK Mode:
The wireless NIC can communicate in the MPA-PSK
wireless mode, but the communication is sometimes interrupted.
Communication is not interrupted in the Open mode.
EAP Wireless Mode:
The wireless NIC can communicate in the EAP
wireless mode, but the communication is sometimes interrupted.
Communication is not interrupted in the Open or WPA-PSK modes.
Possible Cause Suggested Solution(s)
Communication is delayed
due to the updating of the
encryption key. Periodic
updating of the encryption
key enhances security in
the WPA-PSK mode.
Change the setting to lengthen the updating
interval of the encryption key of the access point.
Note:
This phenomenon may still occur, unless
the updating of the encryption key is set to
Inactive. If encryption key updating is set to
Inactive, security may be compromised.
Possible Cause Suggested Solution(s)
The communication is
delayed due to
reauthentication.
Periodic reauthentication may be required in the
EAP mode, due to the access point and RADIUS
server settings.
Set a longer reauthentication time interval on the
access point or RADIUS server.
Note:
This phenomenon may still occur, unless
the updating of the encryption key is set to
Inactive. If encryption key updating is set to
Inactive, security may be compromised.
