Computer Communication Problems
Wireless computer failure. Communicate wirelessly in Ad-Hoc mode with
another wireless computer to check that it is
communicating normally.
If the phenomenon occurs even on non-C9600
equipment, there is likely a problem with the
wireless computer itself.
Defect or type related
characteristic of the wireless
computer or the wireless
card mounted in the
computer.
• Search for similar phenomena in information on
abnormalities—for example on the home page
of the wireless computer or wireless card
vendor—and implement the remedy indicated
there.
• Update the device drivers and wireless client
software of the wireless computer to the latest
version.
• Rarely, wireless communication with the printer
becomes unstable due to compatibility problems
between the printer and the wireless computer.
Replace the wireless computer with a different
type.
The same channel is being
used.
Set an SSID and channel that is not being used
elsewhere. Makes sure you select a channel 5
channels removed from any channel being used
elsewhere. The radio waves of adjacent channels
will interfere with each other and the connection
may become unstable.
