3 Close the platen Cover or the optional document
processor.
IMPORTANT: Do not push the platen cover forcefully
when you close it. Excessive pressure may crack the
platen glass.
CAUTION: Do not leave the platen cover or the
optional document processor open as there is a danger
of personal injury.
