16. After “Please turn the main switch off and on” message appears, turn the main power OFF/ON
17. In case C-D390 appears after step13, touch [Recover Data] and [Yes]
When “Turn the main switch OFF and ON” message appears, turn the main power OFF/ON
Required check after recovery
Because the settings can be different after the recovery the following items have to be checked and corrected
• Select “Others2” in [Marketing Area]
[Service Mode] [System1] [Marketing Area]
• Set the installed Document Feeder in [ADF Settings]
[Service Mode] [System2] 2/3 page [ADF Settings]
• Set [Date & Time]
[Service mode] “Stop”, “1”, “1”, “4”, “4”, “C” [Date & Time Set]
Touch [Entry] of [Date & Time Set]. Touch [Apply]
Confirmation Screen will appear. Touch [OK] and then [END]
• HDD setting set to "Set" in Service Mode
• Ask the customer to confirm if non-standard Administrator Password was used before, and set the correct
password in the machine.
• Software Switch Settings could be changed to factory default. Check the Software Switch Settings if the
machine had unique settings.
• Check the Network settings.
