Deleting a contact
You can delete a contact from the phone book as follows:
1. Press the  key.
2. Navigate to Phonebook.
3. Select the required contact.
4. Select Options Clear and confirm the prompt. The contact is deleted.
Phone book settings
Advanced settings can be defined in the phone book settings.
Preferred storage location
You can define your preferred storage location for phone book entries.
Depending on the setting defined, phone book entries are saved on the SIM
card or in the mobile phone memory or on both without any further
confirmation requests.
1. Press the  key.
2. Navigate to Phonebook Options Phonebooksettings Preferredstorage.
3. Select the storage location SIM1, Phone or All. The setting is saved.
If you have inserted two SIM cards in your mobile phone, you can define both
SIM cards as the preferred storage location for your phone book entries.
Memory status
Information appears regarding the number of contacts stored and storage
locations available:
1. Press the  key.
2. Navigate to Phonebook Options Phonebooksettings Memorystatus. The storage
locations still available are displayed.
If two SIM cards are inserted in the mobile phone, the overview distinguishes
between the storage locations available on both SIM cards and the mobile
phone.
