Emergency Call Function (SOS Key) NOVA Plus

Call chain
Set whether the emergency call numbers should be called once or
repeatedly.
If the telephone chain function is activated, all the phone numbers stored are
dialled in succession in 3 complete cycles. This ensures that the emergency
call function is not interrupted by answering machines or mailboxes.
1. Press the  key.
2. Navigate to Settings Emergencysettings SOSChain.
3. Select On. The function is activated.
4. Select Off. The function is deactivated.
Emergency call numbers
You can save up to five phone numbers to which an emergency call and
emergency text are sent after being triggered by pressing the SOS key.
Do not assign any official emergency call service numbers. A false alarm can
lead to considerable costs which could be charged to you.
1. Press the  key.
2. Navigate to Settings Emergencysettings NumberList.
3. Select an empty storage location (<Empty>).
4. Enter the necessary phone number.
5. Select Save and confirm the prompt. The setting is saved.
SOS text message
You can save an SOS text message which will be sent to the stored phone
numbers after triggering the emergency call function.
The content of the emergency text message is limited to 139 characters.
The SOS text message function is automatically activated when the
emergency call function is switched on.
Content of the text message
Define the content of the SOS text message.
1. Press the  key.
2. Navigate to Settings Emergencysettings Content.
3. Edit the emergency text message.
4. Select OK. The setting is saved.
