J USING THE SELF-TIMER
This function is useful for taking pictures with yourself included in the
photograph. Fix the camera securely on a tripod or stable surface for self-
timer shooting.

Open the lens barrier fully.
The camera turns on in the shooting mode.

Press .
The monitor turns on and the current self-timer setting is displayed.

Press while the current self-timer setting is displayed.
The setting changes between ON and OFF each time
is
pressed.

Press the shutter button fully.
The self-timer lamp lights up for approximately 10 seconds, then starts
blinking. After blinking for 2 seconds with a beep sound, the picture is
taken.
Use the monitor when you need to know the exact area that the camera
records, or when you want to shoot a close subject such as a close-up portrait
or flower (approx. 0.2m - 0.8m/0.7ft - 2.6ft).
