SELECTING THE
RECORDING MODE
You can select the High Quality modes HQ/SHQ/Non-
Compression SHQ or the Standard Quality mode SQ.
● Press the Recording mode selection button to choose the
recording mode.
● To select Non-Compression SHQ, press the Recording
mode selection button for two seconds at SHQ.
● HQ or SHQ is indicated on the control panel when using
the High Quality modes.
● No indication on the control panel when using the Standard
Quality mode.

HQ 1280 x 960 Standard
SHQ 1280 x 960 Minimal (larger file size)
Non-
Compression 1280 x 960 No
SHQ
◆ The selected recording mode remains even after
the camera is switched off.
◆ The number of remaining pictures varies
