following
procedure:
1)
Remove the retaining ring
(I)
from
the
10\o"ler
end
of
the eyepiece i
and place the
micrometer
on
the retaining ring
with
the reticle-·
engraved surface, facing
downward.

Be
certain
to
clean the
micrometer
disc before inserting
into
the
eyepiece.
2)
Return the retaining ring inlO the eyepiece and insert the
eyepiece'
into
the eyepiece tube.

Mounting

the coarse
